While I don’t pretend to be a NASCAR fan, I got the opportunity to check it out this weekend at the GEICO 400 in Chicago. While seeing some of the aspects such as the blistering speed of the pit stops (in my above photo) was truly amazing, the one thing that got to me was the over-sponsorship of the whole thing.
It got to a point where I just got sick of looking at logos all the time — every aspect of the event was blazoned with them. At some point, fewer would definitely be better.
